Writing projects in progress… These are in the drafting phase, so all covers, titles, and artwork are placeholders. Publishing snippets of my work on Galls & Walnuts helps to keep me accountable to my progress.
Eclipse
Eclipse is my passion project currently in its drafting phase. It is a Dark Fantasy Horror novel that follows an herbalist named Zara who is thrown into political turmoil as a deadly plague consumes the mental and physical health of those around her. The world is heavily inspired by Africa, the Mediterranean, Asia, and Mesoamerica, and includes philosophies and ideas inspired by our modern issues.
Momento Mori
Memento Mori is a poetry collection I am working on inspired by thoughts about life and death. Most of the poems are free-verse written during walks in my local park.
National Novel Writing Month Attempt November 2026
National Novel Writing Month might be officially over, but I still would like to challenge myself during breaks while writing Eclipse. This may or may not turn into anything, but I do want to try to write a 50,000 word book in a month…. Oh boy, what have I gotten myself into?
