Welcome to Galls & Walnuts! My name is Parker Wolfe, and I am an aspiring writer of Dark Fantasy Literature. I am documenting my writing process and reading habits after an uninspired decade. I have my lovely students to thank for reigniting this fire, so I hope I can live up to their blaze.
Why the name Galls & Walnuts?
Galls refer to iron gall ink, which was used to to write historically—as walnuts were used to create sepia colored ink.
Dark Fantasy, Historical Fiction, and Literary Horror
I want to write the novels I would love to read. I am highly inspired by classical literature, but would love to see the beautiful prose of the classics in modern genre fiction.
AI-Free Writing
I proudly exclude AI and LLMs (Learning Language Models) from my work. My stories, poems, and artwork are human drawn and written.
